Since my flight ended a little earlier than our expected time of arrival last Saturday, my boyfriend and I decided to go out for dinner. We met up in Cubao and while he was driving, we started to think of a restaurant we haven't been to. I was kind of craving for seafood, but he told me he wanted to try Chicken Charlie, so I agreed. On our way to the U-Turn slot, just a few buildings away from the original Banapple branch, we drove by this small place that we've already noticed a few days before and we decided to eat there instead. (Maybe next time, Chicken Charlie.)
Hungry & Undecided
After parking, we walked towards the place and I asked him if he was sure he wanted to eat there since I wasn't into dining at a restaurant that I haven't heard of before. Being the "willing-to-try-out-anything" couple, we went for it. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by our server with a warm smile. The menus were handed to us and we immediately pointed out different dishes. We were undecided which one to pick between the two, so we just got both. He ordered the Nilagang Bulalo, while I ordered the Sizzling Bulalo. We also added Rib Flakes, Calamansi juice, and a Coke in can to our list.

I was observing the place and noticed that there were a lot of cooks. Although we weren't really sure which one cooked for us, we knew we'd be having a "lutong-bahay" kind of dinner, just the way we liked it. After consuming the food, we were still thinking if we'd order the dessert that our server offered us prior to preparing the meal. She informed us that it wasn't on the menu though they had Leche Flan with Macapuno topping. To our surprise, the owner gave it to us and told us it was on the house. Pocholo joked about enjoying the dessert even more since it was free-of-charge.

|A big smile from my love 'cause we got free dessert! :D|
Before leaving, the owner gave me another freebie - a free drink coupon for my next visit. What an accommodating place it was! I hope this place gets discovered by a lot of people because not only do they have great food, they really have awesome service. I will surely come back and visit them again, with my family next time.
